Lake Macquarie Transport Interchange

North Coast, NSW
Total Project Value:

The Lower Hunter Regional Strategy identified Glendale as an emerging regional centre, with projections for an additional 6200 jobs and 4000 dwellings. To fully function as a regional centre there was a need to improve road connections between the Cardiff industrial area and the broader region. Glendale was identified as the location for a new railway station and transport interchange. The Lake Macquarie Transport Interchange would address regional needs and provide a foundation for the emerging regional centre.
