We have a reputation for providing full and independent cost engineering services at all stages of road infrastructure projects. Working for road authorities, lead consultants and construction contractors, we typically work on projects from a few million to billions of dollars. We are on a number of Road Authorities' current Cost Engineering Panels in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, and are in the process of exploring expansion across Asia. Our expertise extends to bridges (from single span plank and Super T bridges through to large incrementally launched and balanced cantilever bridges), tunnels, grade separated interchanges and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).

We have delivered literally hundreds of independent strategic, concept and detailed estimates, and provided contract writing, management, and constructability, programming and risk analysis services for road projects in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. We provide single services or bundled services, delivering a range of projects including:

  • smaller projects such as various new bus corridors, footpaths and minor roads
  • complex structures such as bridges and tunnels
  • large and, most important, new highway projects
  • $5 Billion+ Pacific Highway duplication in NSW, including:
    • Ballina Bypass Southern Extension
    • Woolgoola to Glenugie and Pacific Highway Upgrade ROI
  • Shortland to Sandgate, NSW - a 1.8km, new four-lane divided carriageway extension of the Newcastle Inner City Bypass.
  • Maitland Roundabouts, NSW - $45M upgrade of two five-leg roundabouts on the New England Highway.
